i broke the tip off of my 6 or 7 yr old cammilus bk7 on thanksgiving day . there wasnt any fault with the knife . i just pryed entirely way to hard while digging for fatwood and snapped about a half inch of the tip off. i believe the destruction is a testament to the knifes strength and durability . no worries . it will soon be reground and have a new stronger tip suitable for rooting like a boar hog ! ive pushed this knife harder than any of my other knives and its never disappointed me , dont let the thin blade stock fool you its a tough blade . good thing i got another cammie bk7 still sitting in its box unused just waiting to be taken out in the woods !:D

regrind slowly and carefully - post pictures of your new custom :)

buy a Campanion BK02 for that kind of prying work... or maybe a TacTool BK03!
