A small plain Insingo arrived yesterday, my first CRK. Initial impressions are very good overall. The thumb stud will take a bit of getting used to, and I assume the knife will take a little while to "break in" and get smoother over time. Anyway, very excited and just wanted to share

ZDP those insingo's are nice, I want one very badly-Welcome, CR makes a great knife

beautiful.
Don't worry about the thumb stud or the stiffness. I was super bummed about those two things when I got my seb. I was only saved by having read online, people saying to be patient and that it would all be good in the end. They really do wear in over a few weeks (especially if you obsessively open and close them 16 hrs a day as I did) and become buttery, silky, glass-on-glass smooth, WAY smoother than when you took it out of the box, like unbelievably smoother, almost a different knife. And the thumb stud, well, it's never great but you do get used to it - your thumb finds a way to live with it and one day you don't even notice your thumb edging a little bit this way or that to nudge it open with minimal work. Just takes a few weeks, is all.

You made an awesome choice for your first CRK! The small Insingo is the perfect EDC, and my favorite knife. I hope you'll feel that way, too. Enjoy and welcome to the obsession! :D

Awesome first man! The Insigno is a great blade, use it in good health

I just got a small Insingo last week. Great knife and they do break in nicely. Just use the thing.

Awesome, thanks for the warm welcome! The missus gives me strange looks because I don't think its left my hand since it got here :)

Congrats, thats a great knife that will serve you well.
You will get the hang of the small thumstud. When I got my first(a long time ago) I didn't care for the thumbstud the first week, but now love it. It works well when you get the hang of it, and looks great compared to oversized thumbstuds.

Congrats! Welcome to the world of CRK!!!! Don't be afraid of letting that handle get scratched up! It looks better and better the more you use it!

Congrats on joining the club! That's a very nice knife, enjoy it in good health.

Congrats, OP! I know just how you feel! A wee brown-clad elf sent from the True North Pole delivered my first CRK just this afternoon.

Sebenza? Yeah, I 'get it' now. So crisp, clean, and not a spare speck of 'fat' on it! Simply beautiful! Or perhaps... beautifully simple.

You make one helluva knife, Mr.Reeve! Thank you.

Congrats! The small Insingo gets carried more than any other CRK I own. I took off the clip and it rides around in my front pocket.

It only got better after I put a real edge at 18 degrees per side with a 20 degree micro bevel. The blade shape is great and I use it for everything.
