I haven’t been here since last Thursday. Friday morning at 1:30AM my wife woke me up, crying, and writhing in pain. I had her at the ER at 1:48AM but was unable to stay due to Covid regulations. At 6:30AM they called and informed me they were transporting her via ambulance to Owasso, OK.

The CAT scans were clear, sonograms (with and without contrast) were clear as well. Blood work was spot on….so the decision to send her to a gastroenterologist in Owasso, OK was made. She underwent emergency surgery that afternoon where the gastroenterologist cleared a stricture. Everything else was perfect. She was released Sunday and is back home with 4 incisions, very little pain, and will return to work at the hospital on Thursday. I feel we dodged a bullet when the term “bowel blockage” is used.

So, if you’re so inclined, say a prayer.

I haven’t been of clear enough mind to keep up here. The tornadoes also hit Sunday…so it’s really been a week from hell. That’ll change later today when the mail shows up with the new Olamic Rainmaker full entropic shows up. I missed you guys.

Glad they got it figured out pretty quick, and best wishes for her continued recovery!

There is nothing worse than seeing someone you love in pain as I well know. I’m glad to hear of the outcome. A special prayer from the wife and I.

Everything is fine, you go to bed, and a couple of hours later all hell breaks loose. Just shows how fragile life is. Take care. Prayer of thanks for you two.
