I started to say I just threw these together but nothing just goes together voluntarily in my shop. :)

I have been making a couple folders here lately though. Both of these are knives I made for customers. I have been fortunate to have the time and got them done in pretty quick order.

Number one is my WhittleJack folder that I designed and began using for wood carving and whittling many years ago. It is kind of a "Karambit" in shape. It sports a .050 410 stainless steel liner and lock hardened for me by Paul Bos, and all stainless hardware including the pocket clip which I made and also had Paul harden. The blade is a 2.5mm thick flat ground 1095 blued by yours truly. The spacer bar/blade stop is also 1095.

Number two is a great design by my very good friend Dirk Potgieter AKA Oupa over on my homepage. It sports a .067, 6AL-4V titanium lock and a .040 liner. Lignum vitae wood like the WJ and titanium bolsters. I also blued the blade on this one and the spacer bar/ blade stop too. Both are 1095 also.

You can read about these knives and see them and more start to finish at the link to my homepage in my profile if interested.

Thanks for looking.
