Certified NRA Rifle and Shotgun Instructor. Adding Black powder rifle on the
29th with pistol and metallic reloading scheduled for Fall.

Only plan on using it for the Scouts however. Overall excellent instruction on how to teach the introductory level shooting.

Congrats!

I've taught the handgun and home firearms safety for many years and always enjoyed it.

When teaching scouts, my experience was that a high instructor-to-student ratio is advisable. They tend to be pretty "enthusiastic" when they get their hands on a .22 rifle!

I recieved my Level 1 Archery instruction permit. Congratulations to you! I will start teaching next month. We have to keep traditions alive.

I still run into boys, some still in scouting, who I taught bb rifle at cub scout day camp some 8 years ago. While not NRA certified, BSA accepted my LEO instructor certifications. My oldest son was one of my students, and he's now an Eagle Scout.

I hope you have the opportunity to see the positive impact on the lives of those you instruct.
