As some of you might recall, I decided to use my Uncle Mofo. So I have been and I have been showing it off a lot also. My parents who live nearby, are doing yard work, so I let my dad use the knife. He was putting up a new mailbox, and trimming a notch in the post for a support piece. He "stuck" the knife in the post by giving it a hard chop and then went to the tool shed to get a drill. While he was gone, the mailman came and hit the knife with his truck. The front 2 inches are still in the post. The rest is here with me. I knew better than to loan it out, and now, since I didn't break it, I don't feel right using the warranty. Maybe Jerry can decide what to do. The biggest part is still intact. Maybe he can regring it and I'll have the MoJo variant. Any thoughts?

Get USPS to replace it. Their employee damaged personal property while conducting their business. Why should you suffer for incompetant driving? Let's hope they pay for damage to your mailbox, too.

I might could get them to do that but I don't know. The knife was right at bumper level and he said he didn't see it. My Father, had already painted the post silver, so I guess it would be hard to see. I wasn't there when it happened, but Dad said the postman was wanting insurance info for his truck! We live in a small town so the PO guys drive their own pickups. He was also saying something about postal regulations and inproper things on the mailbox or something. I got all the info second hand, but I am fixing to go see the Postmaster in person. I guess that a Busse blade likes wood, because I can't get the piece out of the post. I'll stop by and take a pic while I'm out. More info later.

Yeah, when I was putting my post in today, it sliced the whole bottom half off the post truck. That carrier was pi$$ed 'cause he had to carry the truck top half as well as get out to put the mail in the boxes. Ooooh I hate when that happens.

Well, the Postmaster is "out" today. I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow. Since some of you guys seem to think this is funny here are some pics.

This one was taken from the road. It is almost impossible to see the 3 inches or so of INFI sticking out from this angle (what the post man saw)

Alpha, you bastid! You had me going. Nice one! I bet Jerry was sweating just a little at the prospect of a Mfo missing 3 inches! :D

DUDE!!!!!! Quick, someone tell me how to sew three inches BACKon to a leather sheath!!!!!! This is not gonna be easy........:(

Alpha, Kudos!! You got me! I was waiting for the pics. I couldn't figure out why a piece of INFI wouldn't just cut loose of the pole, even under the pressure of a truck.
Well done!!!! :D

You got me!! Well done Alphamaniv!
