Well, I dont have it in my hands, but will soon enough, and as soon as I'm able, will post some detailed pics.

Don thinks this may be the nicest folder he has made to date, and hey, who am I to argue with the Sunfish?

3 3/4" blade of forged W1, double edged, double "dripping" hamon, about the bluest walrus ivory out there, gold hardware, fully fileworked spine. and that clearly "oriented" damascus bolster, what else is there to say, except that I wont sleep until it arrives. :)

Grrrr, I'm jealous. Ari, you're on a roll. THREE fantastic knives and excellent choices in just one month!
 
I actually got to handle this knife at the Chicago show. You won't be dissapointed! The ivory was spectacular and the action was silky smooth!
 
And just think, a knife as sweet as this was made by a guy who wears a tutu when grinding... :)

PS. Bailey, I may have been a little facetious, I think I might just hold onto my folders of yours... :)

Ari I still have this knife, so let's cool it with the tutu business ;)

my gawd that has to be one of the sweetest blades I've ever seen with a sunfish on it!! (and that's saying a lot). :eek: :eek:
 
OK Ari...you not only shocked me witht he folder comment, but then put a mental image of that Hanson dude in a ...tutu.....Just what are you trying to do to me? It wouldn't be such an offensive image if he would shave, but even then you have the hat that clashes with anything Don would wear on "ballet night".

I think I will go forge something. Perhaps the heat will help.....

Based on the awesome knives I have seen in this forum made by Mr. Hanson , I wouldn't care if he shopped for himself at Victoria Secrets. :D
 
Just in case anybody doenst realize, it, I was of course joking about selling any of my Bradshaw folders, I'd rather sell a testi...ummm, kidney... :)

Besides, how can you sell something that looks like this? :)

That is a stunning dagger folder!
The symmetrics of the hamon, the damascus bolster, the deep color of the scales... wow!

Yeah, but they'll fight over who gets to do the hamon... :) I've only seen pics of each, my $$$ is on Don... :)

These 2 guys, in all seriousness, are truly at the top of their craft, they have their own distinctive styles, and amazing skill and talent. I am proud to own examples of each of their work.
