Well I ever see Busse come out with Fusion American Yanagiba? Well Yanagiba is well known as sashimi knife.
All over Asia (as far as i known Japan, Korean, Taiwan) their Yakuza only use 9in (most popular) to 12 in yanagiba to do their "pro" job. It is consider the best knife to stab. Reason as such:
1) Sashimi knife can be purchased everywhere without question of use.
2) Yanagiba blade width is more narrow. When u stab, it goes into body without getting rib bone, so there for, able to pull it out for second stab.
3) 9in is most popular although 12in is cooler. But 9in is not too long, not too short. Too long will be hard to pull the knife out from body quickly when it is close attack. and long knife will be more easily to break.
4) 9in will not be too long to carry. Most Yakuza will tape them around in front of their chest or back.
Now Yanagiba sounds pretty cool for a kitchen knife right! Asian Yakuza gave a lot of thought when they consider their knife use. So, as knife for combat use such as Busse. I think it i will be cool for them to have a one version of knife that is in the same blade shape concept as Yanagiba. when i think, it is nice to modify the AK47 to a 9in or 12in blade length version and slap a fusion style on it.
If there is a such thing, who is with me on a Yanagiba from Busse?
