One of my first threads on BladeForums was a request for a deep carry clip for my Endura. I was new to knives and was EDCing a SOG Aegis. I didn't love the knife (AUS8 rusted constantly) but really liked the deep carry clip. I wanted to move over to an Endura but wanted to replicate the deep carry clip. The thread is here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/deep-carry-clips-for-spyderco-endura-delica.781774/
Based on this thread, I contacted STR and got one of his clips. It was / is awesome.
Fast forward 11 years and I've got two of the deep carry clips on two Para2's that I alternate between. A few nights ago, as I was getting up from a recliner in my backyard, I guess the clip caught on the arm rest of the chair and detached. Its a sad day as I've had this clip since I first got into blades and I will need to track down a new one. I can't find the STR sub-forum so will have to find a way to ping STR directly to buy a new one.
For the avoidance of any doubt, STR makes excellent pocket clips. This sequence of events was entirely my fault / carelessness. Nothing in this thread should be read to disparage STR (or his products) in any way. I got nostalgic and wanted to share.
