I finally put a few scratches on my Large 21. I've had it for a few months, carried and used it a lot but I hadn't scratched it yet. Today while pulling it out of my pocket it finally scratched the scale on the snap/rivet/whatever it's called on my jeans.

It's not a huge mark, but it was the first scratch. Not too worried, the knife is designed to be used, so that's what I'm going to do. But, it got me thinking, how did you put your first scratch or mark on your Sebenza?

It's kinda like shooting someone -- the first time it's hard, after that it's easy.

My first Seb scratch was from car keys in the same pocket. No biggie.

I've only had my small 21 for a month and it has 1 scratch. Thing is I can't figure out how. I carry in waistband, so not there. It lives on a valet on my dresser at night, in its own spot so not there. And I haven't had any cutting duties yet where it would have had the opportunity to get scratched.

So I have my first scratch with no clue how.

Mine had some small surface scratches from pocket carry, until last week.

I was asked to see my knife by a lady at work. She had never seen a Ti framelock before and was interested of the texture of the Ti. She joked "I bet you could use this as a nail file right?" and began rubbing her nails on it. I know that the Ti isn't scratched, but it left some really unsightly marks on the scale.

OH NO!!! That's sort of funny. I can only imagine the look on your face!!!

Chip is too small for my camera to get.

Bathroom has best lighting.
