After speaking with someone on this forum,,, I finally decided to pull the trigger and get my first Busse...and ordered it yesterday. Don't know how long it will take to get it, but I am very excited!!

TGLBS Team Gemini Light Brigade Series 1 $337.00 $337.00
TG_Finishes: TGF_Black
TG_Handles: TGH_Tan

I have been a becker and esse man for a long time, but wanted to "move up" in the world and see what the fuss was all about, hence why I sold alot of my collection off to get this!!

Congratulations, you have chosen a couple of fine blades to start out with. I'll echo the sentiments of others who have said the TGLB series will become a classic.

Thanks so much!! I know it doesn't come with a sheath so I am not sure which direction I will go in for that,,, love the retention of kydex but that scratches the finish, love leather but know when wet the acids it gives off hurts the blade,,, so in the end prolly will go with kydex, just a setup that is molle capable!

Man, I never cared much for the TG, till I was able to hold one at a show, then I realized what all the fuss was about! That's an awesome score and don't worry about kydex love marks and certainly don't worry about leather acid........none will harm Infi!!

There are a few kydex benders that keep the retention on the handle and not the blade so there are options available. Just discuss it with your chosen maker.

Congrats, I think your going to be impressed at the improved ergo's and the better edge retention. As Gravelface said some of the kydex benders use spacers so you get very little rub on the coating.

have fun

Well, after a few trades I have a few more Bussekin knives coming,,, a Son of Dogfather CG and a Scrapivore,,, and also working on a 711,,, hope that goes through too,,,, my Becker family is getting replaced with Bussekins!!

All kidding aside I really think you'r going to be surprised at how much better the swamp rat, scrapyard and busse blades hold up in comparison to the beckers and esee's. Aside from the whole sharpened pry bar aspect from the thicker ones the edge holding on all of the busse family blades is really good. I have a test team regulator that takes a razor sharp edge and is as well made and balanced as pretty much anything around. The basic busse blades are really good buys too, the basic 4 is one of the more handy sized and shaped blades I've used and the almost stainless aspect of infi is impressive.

Congrats on your new blade! The Team Gemini is great knife  Perfect choice :D

Well, looks like the 711 deal went through as well,,, so I am mailing all my trades out tomorrow and hopefully will have my new bussekin next week,, looks like I will be ordering some pants for all of them, cept the scrapivore which comes with a mashed cat sheath!! Will put up pics as soon as they all come in,, the team gemini light brigade I have been told will take about two months to come in!!

Congratulations, and welcome! Busse, ESEE, Becker, doesn't matter, I'm sure we all love getting a hold of new knives.

Sounds like the 711 arrived at my house, and wouldn't ya know I am gone on vacation for my birthday... dangit anyhow,,, well should be home monday so will get some pics up!!
