I have owned and do own many Spyderco knives, but never owned a Paramilitary 2. I just never felt that since I own a couple Military's that the PM2 would be needed in my collection. Well, ordered a Camo/Satin Saturday and it will be here tomorrow.

As much as these are talked about, I hope when I first open her, the sky opens and angels shine holy light upon it.... :D

It's honestly not far from the military. The compression lock is cool. it's a great knife, but nothing spectular especially since you own militaries.

It's a great knife. Love the compression lock. Very easy to manipulate one-handed....

Pics, because every thread needs pics.

That's a knife I've always wanted. I just wish that it was slightly new like the SuperLeaf, it wouldn't kill to put a deep carry wire clip on it and make the blade a little thicker, but either way this knife has always intrigued me an I will one day own it proudly!

It's a great knife, I have owned many...but if you are expecting the heavens to part you might be disappointed. Just sayin'. After you get it, give it a chance to stand on its own merits (which are substantial, IMO). Odds are you'll like it, but if not they are pretty easy to resell. BTW, you picked the best handle/blade combo IMHO... :D

Are you telling me the heavens didnt part just even a little bit when you got yours?:D

The opening sky and beaming angels thing occurs after carrying and using it for a while.
It's that kind of folder, good when you get it, utterly awesome when you have carried it, used it, and 'got' it.
Well, thats how I found it to be.

OK, some poor pics of a great folder -

I fricken love this knife....I have no idea now, why I never bought one before. Before if you asked me what my favorite Spyderco was, I'd say it was a tossup between the Military and Endura....now I am starting to think the PM2 might pass them. Also, I dig the compression lock and the location is just about perfect. Always liked a well designed back lock, since this is what I grew up with and recently became a fan of the Tri-Ad lock....but this appears to be just as strong and is easier to use. The PM2 for me, is just about the perfect knife.

Here is a pic next to my favorite Military.

Before the Para2, I would float between my SERE 2000 and Spyderco Military. My Para2 has been in my pocket 95% of the time since I got it.

I had a PM2 a while ago and it didn't hook me so I sold it.
After being around here listening to all you enablers ;) I had to get another so I got this one in this week and did it up to suit me.
It's a serious competitor for my EDC. (the Manix is another)

Where did you get those clips?
