I guess I can't go a week without buying an ESEE, every time I get one in the mail, I want another one. I think the 5 will be the last one until I see the need for a Junglas, but you never know, there may be a 6, 4, or three in the picture too, plus all the other goodies ESEE is releasing. But as others have said, I think ESEE is truly one of the last honest companies in the business. Great product and great people here! Glad I stumbled on this sub forum, but my wallet isn't! Thanks guys!

Congrats on the knife. There is something addicting about them to be sure. I have four of them so far, and will probably get another some time this year. Great knives.

It is addictive. It started with a HEST, then got the 3-MIL, Found another HEST new from someone on another forum for 80.00 bucks shipped. And now I just made a deal on a Used/ but NEW Junglas. 75.00 cash plus a few c-products mags. Got to Love it!

Just need to find a good deal on a Junglas sheath now! Can they be found cheaper then 65.00 bucks anywhere?

the 5 is a "do all" piece, it's my EDC, i can't imagine a situation where you'd be underknifed :) i'm pretty good at keeping my ESEE addiction under control, i've only bought one "5", one Junglas, and two Izula. nowhere near as bad as some of y'all :D

I Also suffer from ESEE knifeatosis....
It all started with the 6, then the 3, then an Izula.
Liked the Izula so much, I bought one for each of the kids to share in my joy. That's a total of six Izulas in this house..... (so far)

If that LazerStrike doesn't come out soon, I may need to pick up a 5 just to feed the need....

I need to stay off this forum until I finish a couple other projects! Now I'm telling myself I need a 5! It's bad!

The 5 is just great. With a 5, a 3, and a couple of pocket knives of various kinds, all your cutting needs are covered.

I made a leather sheath for mine to give it a conventional look but it's living in the Kydex mostly.

Next up...Junglas or maybe a second 4 in a different format. Or maybe I'll wait until the 440c un-coated version comes out!!! The stainless feature is nice enough but I really like the "stone washed" treatment I've seen on the proto. I am more than confident that Rowen Mfg. will heat treat that 440c just supurbly!

Hey zignal zero, how do you EDC this knife? Kinda large! I would like to see where you let it ride.

I know I've posted this photo a million times, but it shows how the 5 carries rather small. I've got it on the belt clip here, and a jacket or hoodie covers it nicely. I don't know that I'd edc it in the city, but in any kind of active enviroment outdoors, It's easy to carry and doesn't really print badly.

You'll love the 5. I know how you feel though, got hit with the bug late last year, bought the whole line. After you get them all and use them, you'll just hang out here...not a bad deal at all.
