I ordered my first Busse, a 3/16 satin jack le. Most I've ever spent on a knife, and the longest I will have ever had to wait for one. I want to hold it so badly. Oh well, 6 weeks at the longest:)

lightweight, congrats on your purchase! You've
selected one of my favorites. Don't fret the
wait shouldn't be too long and it's definetly
worth it.:)

Lightweight, the wait is well worth it believe me.I have waited more than a year or more for Randalls for more money. You will love your SJ!

Congrats lightweight!
This is going to be the easiest six weeks of your life!:D

After that you'll be working harder than ever just to get another Busse fix!:p

Hey, lightweight, you can do this one standing on your head! I waited about 2 1/2 years for my BM-SH LE. Well, the wait wasn't so bad since I didn't really know I was waiting, and by the time she got here, my mistress was worth about 3 times what my wife paid for her. Hmmm... somehow that didn't come out sounding right. Oh well, enjoy your SJ!

The wait probably won't be that bad seeing as how I have a poor memory. Something will sidetrack me and *POOF* I'll recieve a mysterious package from Busse;) :D

You might want to call them in about 2-3 weeks, just to check the order status. My knife might still be sitting in Ohio if I hadn't called last Wed.- the person I spoke to said it should have been shipped already. I called 5 weeks after I placed the order. Also, call on a Mon. or Tue.- I called on Thurs., and had to wait until Mon. for the knife. The other way, I might've had it by Fri. But, it's worth the wait- I haven't used it much yet, but I can hardly put it down. What I esp. like is the feel of the canvas micarta, because it feels very natural, rather than like a synthetic material.

Buzzbait, thanks for the compliment, it's fitting though, since I appreciate your taste in knives, and admire your collection;) :)

FrankieCrabs, I'll keep that in mind, that is if I don't forget it:D
