I wasn't going to buy any new knives in 2014. I bought about a dozen. 3 in December alone. (Two Caly 3's and a 3.5)

This year I renewed my resolution and 2015 was going to be new knife free.

I got a gift card for Christmas and I just found an orange Dragonfly 2 for under $50 shipped.

So much for my resolution.

I really need to clean out some knives that I don't use. Maybe that will be my new resolution.

(Next year)....

My new years resolution is not to have a new years resolution concerning knives.
A+ for making it a whole three days!!!!!

I did the same thing got 5 new knives for Christmas told myself no more till have carried and used them. I have one in the mail coming that I'll teach me to look at blade hq when I am bored.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who lacks discipline.

I was doing really well. I was still "just looking" but I had rules.

If it hadn't been orange, or under $50 I wouldn't have bought it.

But when it is orange and it is under $50 - what can you do? When the cosmos speaks, one must listen.

Gift cards don't count. You're still going strong sir.

One does not gift out a gift card with the intention being the receiving party is not to spend it.

You were only making sure that someones Christmas wish for you came to fruition. You are fine.

It is what it is...

I just started the new year with an Olamic Wayfarer. I really don't need this knife, and I probably won't carry it much. But I wanted it for no other reasons than, it had CPM154, moonglow, a polished blade, and it looks like a fun knife.

My blade "needs" ended at an Insingo Sebenza, it's my trusty sidekick. Now I just buy knives because they look "fun". Who cares if you don't "need" it, if you want it then buy it...
