i finally pulled my head out of my rear and got back on the emerson train.

i just picked up a new 2006 black plain edge waved super cqc7, and wednesday a 2009 black plain edge cqc7b will be here. now i am just going to trade my BM 525 for a mini cqc7 and i will be complete.

some people don't like the tanto chisel emerson blades, but that is my first ever good folder , and it would go anywhere with that blade.

I just love emerson!

Congrats on your new Emersons!

The Emerson CQC-7B is the only tanto knife I'll carry.
I do have a CRKT M16-14 that's a beater, but it doesn't get any carry time. The 7's are the schiznit!:D

what do yall think of a mini cqc7? when did they last make them? cause they seem to be hard to come by nowadays.

I have a Mini 7 that I picked up from the 'bay about a month ago. It's a 2006 model.
It's been in my EDC rotation since I got it. A very nice little blade it is.
I'm pretty sure they're still in production, but I have noticed they can be hard to find.

I'v had a few mini-7s over the years and they are great little knives.
All EKIs are made in batches so you get peaks and trofs of availability,
Just hang on for a while and you will see them again soon :)

i am about to trade for a 2001 plain edge black coated cqc7b, i guess i will have the new 2009 model as a backup

The mini 7s are stout little knives. They feel unbreakable because of how compact they are.

.

I'm looking to buy a mini 7 p/e in Aug. What is the best price they can be found for?
