Well, I got a nice package today containing a new Extrema Ratio MF2.

Boy is it nice!! It is a bit larger than I imagined, but still very manageable for EDC (at least for me). The handle is light and very sturdy. The ergonomics are nice, although the second hilt will take a little getting used to.

The blade is very well finished, and seems quite sharp. The locking mechanism seems very strong also, and the secondary lock very secure although I doubt I will be in a situation where I will need it.

All in all a very nice and well finished piece. I am very impressed!! Here are a couple pics...

Very nice where did you get it from? I have been eyeing the mpc for a while now. But this one is a strong contender.
Congrats on your new purchase.
 
Can you post an in hand picture? I'm having a hard time seeing a hand wrapped around it with that secondary hilt thing.
 
Very cool. I'm always puzzled by the adulation heaped on very expensive folders like the Sebenza. I have no doubt that it's very well made but it's borrrrring! That Extrema Ratio however,looks badass and I have no doubt that it's also well made. I wish there was a Canadian dealer.
 
By the way ,you seem to have the same taste in knives that I have. I've got the Gerber and the Cold Steel in your picture, and I also really like the Boker folding dagger.
 
Cool comparison pic. Better blade. Waiting to save up the scratch for one of those.

WOW!!! I have never seen a knife like ER....man is that ever deadly looking!!!! Very very nice buddy!!
 
I like the blade shape, how's it feel with that middle 'guard' thingy?

I think that I'd end up grinding the secondary hilt/guard off. It would look a whole lot better that way, and probably be more comfortable to boot. The knife does have great lines though. Very nice.
