i have a small Zenith Marshal Wells double bit, got it at a second hand store for six bucks.
so if you average the difference its only about $23.50 apiece for the two, see if that works for her??? :DLOL
if the "BOSS" went after me every time i snagged a new axe i'd been gone years ago.;)

I think you'll be alright Bearhunter, now if you'd a won the Black Raven awhile back that went for around a grand, you'd probably be in real trouble.
 
My wife always says to me: "As long as you dont buy any new car, a new TV or anything else... I doesn´t matter, that´s you money..." But for sure she thinks: "An other new knife... another new axe, hatchet or hawk... he already got one and for sure wouldn´t need it... wasted money...!"

I´m sure, I´m not alone. She wouldn´t kill you.

Well my wife says it is better sometimes to do something and then beg forgiveness, than to ask and not get that something. If i try that, she tears me a new one.

But like someone saideven with shipping its only 50 bucks. just show her what one of them old crow axes goes for.

memphis, my lovely lady dosent "get her hair done"... shes just a beautiful mountain girl lady...:) 120#, 5' 7", hair down to her ...humm...:D
anyway, she still dosent know. she did mention something today about (me) spending alot of money on axes lately...
i guess she'll find out when it shows up at the mail box...:) :)
 
i must be in the lucky boat :D my lady loves all the new(old) axes i pick up,goes with when im axe hunting,always wants to see my resto progress,always wants to touch/hold them...she is the most awesome!!!!!!! :D
 
I tell my wife : Honey when I sell all these 30 years from now and we move to Costa Rica, I dont want to hear a word besides "Thanks"
