And it's everything I hoped it would be.
A small Apogee, frame lock, ano Ti slabs and CPM420V.
It came with a little file work on the spine and some gold decoration I think is called 'nuggeting' on either end of the slabs, neither of which I expected.
It's feather light but well balanced, all the grind lines meet perfectly and all edges on the slabs are relieved or chamfered and there's even a scalloped edge to assist your thumbs grip when releasing the lock. Also, very comfy in the hand, good ergonomics. Lots of blade packed into a small handle.
This is my also my first blade in CPM steel, this piece seems very hard, kinda 'slides' along the stone. Don't know what Rc is usual for DDR with this steel.
(DDR?)
Oh....did I mention that if was beautiful too?
This is no art knife...just another minor masterpiece from the mind and hands of DDR.
A VERY nice knife.
Thanks DDR,
Steve-O
