Well it all started with the CQC-15 I bought in February of this year. I wasn't sure I would like it, but I had to give emerson a shot. Well I took it on a training rotation to Germany for the month of march. It held up to everything I needed and more, i quickly became my EDC in garrison too. I let a buddy take it out on a night mission and had to fight with him to get it back. When I came home I bought a black roadhouse and a combat karambit. I just dropped the CC on a CQC-8. Now the hardest decision isn't which one next, its which one to leave home on this up coming deployment. I'm thinking of taking the 15 or 8 and putting the karambit on the kit just in case. I'm also bringing a 4 inch fixed for the IED probe. Thank you Mr. Emerson. AIRBORNE!

Super addictive. I now have 3 and had to physically force myself not to buy another one with my tax return. 15 models are my favorite hands down. I would love it if emerson did a super cqc 15!

ScreaminSS01: Thanks and will do.

CLE: Roger that on the super 15. It's to bad Emerson hasn't realized what a winner they have here. The handle design alone is perfect, and was the major reason why it was my first one.

First, let me take a second to thank you for your service. A thanks to all who serve and read this too.

If looking into IED probes you may be interested in the Les George EOD probes.

As for what Emersons to bring along, all I can add is the EDC you choose to carry the most has to come with, a second or 3rd blade should be able to tackle a task or two the primary may not be able to cover. Look at blade length, shape, etc. and a pair or set will begin to show itself.

i have to agree they are very adicting... id have to say so far my foavorite is cqc 8 but just ordered the 7 so we will see and i too would like to take time to thank you for your service and come home safe
