After what happened this weekend, I've decided to get the gold membership. I've been to this site at least once a day for the last few years, and I've learned so much and received so much advice and information. I love this place and want to do my small part in helping to keep it running. So sign me up Spark, and thanks for all the hard work. :D

The more people that financially support BF the better for the continued health of the community. I'm glad to see you like this place enough to support it with your hard earned money.
 
Good man! I figure I spend a couple hundred dollars on movies a year. Cable is many hundreds per year. I spend freaking hours on this site weekly, sometimes daily, it always entertains . . . I think I can justify $30 a year for that. And there's satisfaction in supporting something you care about. Well done. :D
 
Good for you!!! Maybe the down time will turnout to be a blessing. I think it has already made us appreciate BFC a little more. Hopefully, this new perspective will translate into a sharp increase in Gold and Premium members.
 
In my opinion it is money well spent, every little bit keeps the forums up and running so we knifenuts have some place to spend all of our time. Congrads on the gold.
 
The bit I spent on my membership doesn't even begin to pay for all the companionship and amazing amounts of information that I've learned on this site. The cost is most definitely worth it to support it and keep this site up
 
Thanks guys. Thats exactly what I was thinking. I really hated not being able to come here and check out what's going on. It just goes to show you how easy it is to take certain things for granted.

Even most of the moderators here believe in the community that has been established to support it with a paid membership.

If you can afford it and feel that BF is worth supporting, by all means please do so. If not, you are still welcome here. That is what this place is about, but I hope that one day most of us will feel that BF and it's people are worthy of the support.
 
Forums went down about the time my Gold ran out, didn't realize it was close to re-upping, money order in the mail today...guess it will take a week before it gets activated again...
