at blade west, will there be any new ad's or no's for sale?

and/or will we be able to order iether of the new knives at blade west? (you could print out pictures of the handle slabs off the knife, and give examples of the finishes, kinda like when you select what color you want your retainer to be at the dentist, or when you select floor tyle color )



unless the blade west knife is flat ground, and under 4 inches, im still going to be all jittery waiting for that ad


im hoping to get me a fully flat ground high alloy steel folder (preferably drop point), with some form of tight locking mechanism, ala the integral liner lock, or something similar to the axis lock... so far the only one ive seen that fits it to a key is the mcsocom strider, or a small christ reeves sebenza... and ive seen a few other costoms with that configuration... all above 250$ what are you guys lookin to score at blade west?

In the absence of a Busse folder, I suggest you take a peek at the Blade Tech Wegner Pro hunter. If you want handmade, they are done by Phil Boguzewski. The production models are made in Lakewood WA and feature S30V blades and dual recessed liners.

id preffer a thumb stud that rests nice and close to the handle if possible

and a google search didnt come up with much about the liner lock on the blade tech hunter, how does it differ from a normal liner lock?

that mcsocom.... man... honestly, thats exactly what i want as a feature set (though a smaller version would be nice, and im sure that it will be pretty thick behind the edge)
