It's been only a few days since I said hi here with photos of my first CRK, left-handed Mnandi with snakewood. (LOVE IT!)

And now, I just clicked "submit" button to place an order of plain small Sebenza 21, of course the LH version.

Ahhh. My gadget badget for this month is totally blown.

I could have gone with a large Seb, but for my work environment and most of day to day activity even including some light outdoorsy stuff, small Seb is just about the perfect size as my previous main EDC blade was Spydie Delica.

My justification of buying a small Seb in addition to similarly sized Mnandi:

Seb: truly go-to EDC, do all blade with super easy maintenance. Still small enough for city/office scene.

Mnandi: letter-opening, classy, super people friendly, can be carried next to my fountain pen even in formal situations.

Anyone here also own/use both small Seb and Mnandi? Please make me feel better with my rather hefty purchases by sharing your usage of these handy two little blades. :)

Hey, I'm with you. I sold ALL my other knives and now just have the small Seb and the Mnandi! Your reasons for having those two are my reasons as well. Great choice, you will not be disappointed!

I'd say this is it, but I know myself too well. Yeah, it has began... :p

fespo276, I remember seeing the photo of your pair. That was in my head when I was justifying the idea. :D

I guess some of my Spydies gotta go now, but I'm quite confident that I'll be very happy with the combo...

Yea right. I always say "that's it. I'm done for a while" Then 2 weeks later I buy another.
I starting my Spyderco collection back up again. I stopped with that when I found CRK and now I am going back.

At one point I had quite a few (60+?) knives. Mostly Spyderco with some fixed blades thrown in there. I have since sold most of them (still have a Persian and a Military) and have replaced them with about 8 (or is it 9?) CRK knives. It's an addition I wouldn't trade for anything else.

I'm going to try my best to keep Spydies as many as possible. Many of us know the "cycle" of gadget/tool sickness. I learned it hard way with antique camera lens purchases. I know I'd be kicking myself for selling some of discontinued Spydies in a while no matter how happy I am/will be with the CRKs. Of course the same thing can be said for CRKs as well so I'll hold on to as many blades as I can and call them my "saving account" until I really really need to sell some. Not too many saving can cut things. :) Of course this doesn't mean that I baby my tool blades, though.

Just got the shipping notice from the dealer. Little Lefty Sebbie should be here in a couple days! :D

The small Sebenza 21 (Left Handed) just came in. Oh what beautiful piece of tool!

Mnandi is now moving up to chest pocket, and Seb will ride in the pants pocket.

BTW, I would have purchased it anyway, but this LH Seb didn't have "Idaho Made" stamp on the handle although the birth certificate indicates it's made in Dec 2010. I guess they had prepared handles for left handed models from some time ago.
