For those of you around when the LE bk10's first shipped out to beckerheads, you remember my two bolt version right? Well i got home today to a package from.......yeh you guessed it ETHAN BECKER! below are some pics i took. It feels great to have one again. Thanks again to Knife Rights, Critter, Ethan, Moose, and ESPECIALLY the guy who gave it back the first go round. I owe it all to you.

Dont think i can with the tumble finish but im thinking about a grapefruit patina and then fisks method will show up on it then. I cant just let it not be a user, i love the lower grind on the kabar version so its gonna get carried. The box and letter are on display now and im hunting for a battery for the light (what do these things take?) Its gonna get its first real use with the fire contest, and i cant wait.

sweetness. i really like that flashlight - it's my edc. oh, and that knife is pretty nice too :D

p.s. instructions say to put the battery's + side towards the bulb. accidently putting it the wrong way might ruin the circuits. not sure if it will but i don't want to be the test case.

Well i have a short combat master and I got an azwelke kydex on the way...but i think im gonna ask this guy to do one...if he doesnt have a 10 then im gonna see what MWTIC lead time is. Im pretty sure i want a drop leg leather since i edc a pack and I dont need a "survival" type sheath setup for carrying things anymore, ill just put them in my bag.

That third bolt is an extra.:cool: In case you lose the upper or lower. I like how there is built in storage right in the middle there.;) Now that is some clever thinking.:thumbup:

You might wanna keep that one as it came. 1 of 180 is good. 1 of 1 is better. Just a suggestion.

As much as I'd like to see how you mod this bad boy I will have to agree to this... I have used mine once and the chore could have been handled with a cheap kitchen knife.

yeh i know..........but much like a kid at xmas i just cant put it away in the safe...seems like torture to the poor fella...its taken so long to find a good home.....i want to display my 1 of 1 knife proudly....and cut stuff at the same time....

All of mine are users, except some of my FBF knives, I collect those. :D

Whats most important to me is the letter and signed box from ethan. Thats what really counts out all of it and that stuff will be on display for the ages. The knife will be used and everytime it is i will be humbled over again. Talked to that sheath maker, he is gonna make one just like the above pic, the patina is forming now, and im considering taking one of my older pairs of micarta and dying them dark brown. A rustic look all around.

closer to 159-169 when the dust settles... some went missing ;)

course, Ethan will sign one of his knives if you ask :)

but the fenix is cool
