Off to my local surplus store to look at a bk9 . Only problem is I'm now so paranoid that they're only gonna have the old roll stamped version , in which case I'm not buying it. The surplus store's price is also a ripoff , $220 aud , so I may call my mate and go thru a trusted website I know of , because for that kinda money I can get a bk9 and a bk10 shipped

Anyway I've just placed my order for a bk9 , a bk14 plus the orange handle scales for an EDC , and I'm getting a bk4. I'll send the MO off today then I just play the waiting game.
 
Spydercobenchmadekai , I decided to order online , and get 3 beckers shipped for $320 Aussie dollars instead of paying $220 Aussie dollars for just the bk9 . I really also wanted the bk14 for an EDC , and the bk4 is just too cool to pass up. Now I play the waiting game

Always better to get a better deal on more Beckers! However, I hope that you paid for really, really, fast shipping...
 
Aussie currency is different to American mate. You can have your knives within a week , we have to sit it out and just wait. I feel a lot better with myself , having made the decision I did :) I also hope this machax is a joyous toy , and I'm sure the bk14 will make a nice work knife :)
 
Ok, My cat-like curiosity has gotten the better of me.... How long DOES it take to get a knife all the way down south?
 
Zzyzzogeton ; sir , if you'll bear with me ; the website I order off ; I pay my money order today , ok , I wait say one two days for the supplier to get the money order. Then , I wait maybe two or three weeks most for the supplier to get the knives shipped from the USA to me. The cost saving was well worth it though , in my opinion.
 
Nice haul! Now the wait begins. Fortunately, it sounds like you folks down South are a patient group. For the price difference, I don't blame you one bit for deciding to wait a little bit longer.
