Hey guys, so I sure you can understand that with everything going on, I haven't have a lot of time to be surfing the web, canadian forces, Search and rescue as well as work at the shelter had me on my toes and givin' more than my share of things to do.

Firsts up though, I want to thank RKSOON:thumbup:

He was a great guy through this buy, I had many things happen, and he was very understanding, couldn't have asked for anymore (though Im sure he would have been cool with it)

So, what I have right now is a couple videos of the pack, just a quick review. I will be taking more pics tonight, and will be doing a full write up

Here is part one:

So thats all for now folks, like I say, stay tuned and I will have a full write up tonight.:D

I really like my Falcon II. I just used it all day under soaking rain conditions without any kind of pack cover and everything stayed nice a dry. It surprised me how well it did under those conditions. I wish my body stayed as dry as my pack contents did!

Ok, on to the pictures and write up.

So first we'll start with its intended use, this is my SAR and cdn forces pack, I take it on duty, and any other time im in the wilderness. It has what I need to make someone, and my self comfy for a night. This will be extend on in the near furture when I finish my Heli training for a hasty team.

Anyways, well start with some out side pics.

You can see three pouchs on the out side, a rolly polly dump pouch, a cocoon pouch with 6, 12hr glo sticks. The last kit is actually my belt PSK, it has a modified AMK SOL pack, These are the contents.

10ft of brass wire
4X katadyn MP-1's
Micro fox40
tinder
Match kit
Modified fishing kit
10ft of duct tape
Signal mirror
compass
AMK heat sheet

In the rest of the kit there are two spare CR123's for the tk-10, and a full sized ferro rod.

In the first top pouch I have a Prictentec Fuel head lamp, lots of spar bats and a enegizer hardcase led, good light for map reading, or night navagation.

The bladder pack holds up to a 100Oz'er, but I have a 80oz platapus in there.

Another nice little touch are the straps on the bottom, which is where I keep my rain gear.

Overall, Im really liking this pack, its rides nice, stays snug to my back and is just great size for me. Its also nice having all the modding abilities for your size and what extra gear you want to bring.

Woot woot! Ah, 'tis bittersweet..."Baby come back, you can blame it all on me..." :p:D

It's kinda cool knowing a piece of gear that used to be yours is now off getting better use with a new owner and kickin a$$ in SAR missions. Glad you were able to use those pouches too man . I loved the mini-rollypoly on there, so versatile.

I like how you loaded it up and organized your stuff in it Fonly  Hope you like it when you field test it!

Someone just started a thread asking about info on the Falcon-II recently, I hope he sees this thread.

Hey, I certainly dont mind. Im just glad you were a good guy to deal with, I doubt anyone else would have been as understanding.

Oh, here is the truck too!
