Fonly, hey man glad to have you check in once in a while.

you too man, just for the record, that paratroopers bag that was sent my way has made its way to my brother in law as a first time possibles bag, he loves it.

I'm new here but I spend a lot of time in the bush. Here are some photos from a typical evening.

A wet forrest floor but a cottonball w/ vaseline and a spark are enough to get my small fuel burning and dry out some larger cedar to add later.

One of my puuko projects makes quick work of a half dry cedar split to provide a spoon for the rice/lentil mix.

HA, awesome to see some of the old guys still kicking around, and that there are some new faces.

Fin, excuse my previous pics, I can tell you have an eye for the photography, rest assured, i do as well, but that night was pretty impromptu, so out came the cell phone.

plan on getting some more pics up, again, haven't had much of a chance to get out in the bush for some me time, plaenty of callouts, however I didn't have time to relax, I honestly forgot how much fun it was.

looking forward to new threads coming up, have a good one guys.

I'd been wondering where you'd gone off to. How long have you been gone? It's been quite a while.

oh wow, still a few of us around eh?

Its nice to be back, as nice as it can be to be on a forum I guess... :D

this place all ways has been a wealth of knowledge, is rksoon, bushman 5 or longbow 50 still around?

They opened a surfboard shop up in Maui. We see less of them, but they still come by to tell us how they're doing. Proving old habits die hard, Bushman got a fire going in Aisle 2 using wood shaving and board wax.

Is that a Cold Steel Trailmaster with a stacked leather handle modification? Looks good.
