I emailed busse cause I couldnt find out where to buy busse knife from. they said go to bussecombatstore.com, so I went there and they still only list a few different knives. Whats a guy gotta do to find a complete line of Busse knives? Should it really be this hard? Battlemistress? What about the others? Do I have to search ebay for second hands?
So we have the easy to find peanutbrittle reeve and the nuclear tuff but impossible to find busse....hmm. wtf

Artilary6, Busse Combat offers one production model at a time. That is how they operate, and although it is different than most other knife companies, this method has been successful for Jerry & his Crew from the beginning. The last offered model from Busse was the Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress, but it has ended, and now the model is the HACK Bear Cub. Once an offered model has been pulled, that is it. The Busse Company Store offers several versions of past Busse knives that were offered, plus others sold exclusively through the Store. If nothing there appeals to you, then I would suggest hunting through the Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrapyard For Sale sub-forum in the BladeForums.com FS Exchange for any model that you wish to find. Currently, there's lots of Busse knives there to choose from.

That's the way it is, and the way it's gonna be until Jerry decides otherwise. His business, his way.

Happy Hunting! :)

well i'm having a tough time getting a fbm and all i need is more competition so go away i was here first :p

What's the words to that song now??? '...that's just the way it is...'

It's all part of the fun!

If they still offered a full line of knives, wait times would be right up there with Randalls (several years) IIRC, wait times were climbing up into that range when they decided to switch to the current system.

benefits of the current system:
1. Cool New models and short runs can be offered (not possible if bogged down with endless backlog of standard model orders)

2. Short Wait time (too short sometimes, according to my wallet.)

Also, check the Busse Company Store. Skunk usually has some different models ready to ship, but they can and do sell out.

I saw like 35 responses to your last question and Kendra even stated to call them at the factory and you still couldn't find out where to buy a Busse    I have amassed 44 of them in the last 14 months alone  Happy hunting  Oh wait, plus 3 NMFBM on the way   ;)

Pretty complete list here: www.bussecollector.com Look under Catalog.

Beyond what is currently offered, you are correct in that the secondary market is your only option.

This is starting to remind me of Lynn Thompson's overtures bemoaning his inability to find a BM to test against the Trailmaster.

Let me guess, Artilary6 has challenged Jerry to step forward and submit a BM (or perhaps the entire Busse line) for his approval. Jerry has yet to toe the line. Artilary6 will have to make do with peanut brittle.

I'm waiting breathlessly for the DVD.

When you say a "complete line of Busse Knives" I gather you are looking for one place that offers every Busse knife ever made, all ready for delivery.
If you find that place, anywhere but the hereafter, please PM me but tell no one else. We'll be RICH beyond our wildest dreams. Really, good luck I wish you all luck and success

C'mon folks, let's not chase away the the newbies before they can even buy their first Busse.

You do have to admit that figuring out the Busse Group business model can be more than a little frustrating for people, even after they find their way here. So let's cut him some slack and he should be able to find his way now, with all the advice that has been offered.

Look at the exchange and you find pretty much anything you want. Old, out of production, stuff will be expensive. Newer stuff may be at about cost.

They are really not hard to find.
