im always on the market for a kershaw because i respect the company's quality standard and customer support. i look through the picture threads on this forum and through the official site often...but never find a single knife that interests me. ive held blackouts, leeks, chives, shallots, blurs, and cyclones of all makes and models and none of them suit me. if you asked me right now if i liked kershaws i wouldnt know what to tell you. am i cursed to never buy a kershaw or is there some less common model i might not know about?

What are you looking for in a knife that you find lacking in the aforementioned knives?

Important questions....What is your EDC, What is your favorite knife, who is your favorite custom maker? Answer these simple questions and maybe I can figure it out for you:thumbup:

Have you looked at the RAM, Packrat, or the OD-1? I just ordered a new RAM, and I would really like to try the new Packrat! Have you looked at the ZT line if you want something a little more high end? To me Kershaw is really going for it!

thank you for mentioning these models, theyre not on kershaws site. im really interested in that packrat. g10 is a big favorite of mine and the bladeshape is incredible. its ao which im experienced with but pretty neutral about, and i could always take out the bar if i dont prefer it. has both stud and flippers which i both use and like. i dont mind linerlocks or sandvik steel. actually, i generally prefer liners to monos because i prefer the feeling of g10 on both sides of the handle and dislike the feel of metal. its a bit too heavy imo but thats inherent in kershaws ive found. but who doesnt love a quality, unique 50 dollar knife made in the usa? thisll be my first kershaw purchase for sure. thanks guys
