For those of us that been a worrying about Shavru's presence or lack there of. I'm happy to report that I finally received a PM from her this morning.

She's apparently been playing around in the hospital again for a week or more.

Back at home on heavy drugs but getting home is a major step in getting well right.

I was happy to hear from her and she got the handles I sent her finally.

Thought the rest who been concerned would be relieved as well.
 
I was wondering how come she doesn't chime in with a mule story of her own, indeed :D.

No sir. I whittled some 1911 grips for her. She speaks of a much cherished scorpion but I have yet to see it. Kind of aching to truth be told. Course then I'll most likely want one of my own and I'll feel jealous and all and get a beat down from the missus and the cycle will repeat itself.

Maybe best I don't see it.
 
Welcome back Shavru! Bawanna an I were just asking about you yesterday. Hoping for a quick recovery! We were about ready to form a posse and start looking around town for ya again:D

I wish we had known, you'd have had bonfires of smoke headed your way and prayers that no deity could ignore. :D

Thank you all for the smoke, prayers and kind thoughts. I am feeling kind of slow and groggy and but the Dr assured me that they have no idea what they are doing so if I ignore them completely I bet I will be feeling right up to snuff quickly :D
 
So glad you are back my Samurai sista. We missed ya around here. Glad to have you back... There has been some super deals on lately. Real gems!
 
hehe, Good to hear GB. I am betting any sharking that happened while I was gone was well attended and considering the cost of all these pills the Drs have me taking I am going to be a toothless shark for a while yet anyways.

But I sure have missed seeing HI blades. I made hubby bring me my IBBB just so I had a good piece of steel near by. I was having whips and jingles and starting to be concerned about the consistency of the hospital vampires who visit at 5am every morning to "run blood tests" yeah right silly ghouls. I know why they show up at that hour. They have to be done and back in their lab (crypt) before the sun rises each morning or "poof" they turn to dust when the sun hits them. They even came up with some scienc-ey type name for themselves...phlebotomists but everyone who isn't a zombie with a moldy brain should be able to figure that one out. Phlebotomists should deal with Phlem, right? I mean seriously they give themselves a name that says they deal with extra slimy snot and then tell you they want to drink...err draw your blood. I mean how drugged out of your mind do they think you are??

But I showed them. I made sure to drink gallons of Cherry kool-aid, the only thing they would let me have that resembled blood and when they went to draw it, I had re-routed my picc line back out and into the pitcher of kool-aid. Though it did result in them thinking I had Diabeties from the amount of sugar in my "blood" But I am betting one of more of those "phlebotomist" vampires had some stomach aches and "cherry withdrawls" later.
 
Glad to hear you're doing better! If you're still worried about vampires, using tar to paint a cross on your door should do the trick.
