Here is an outstanding and unusual liner-lock from the forge of Wendell Fox of Springfield, Oregon.
5 3/8” from it’s curly little tail to the tip of the blade.
The 3 1/8” blade of differentially tempered 1095 has two distinct temper lines.
Hand rubbed to a great satin finish.
The forged steel back-spacer is file-worked as well.
The liners are titanium and the scales are a relatively new ivory substitute (called "True Ivory"), looks like the real thing, grain and all.
Great knife.

Dirk, thats a most unusual knife. I think thats a fair comment about the Wendell Fox knives I've seen. Lots of character and always a rustic look to them. I say all that in the best possible way. I really like this knife. Moment I saw it it reminded me of my antique straight razors which I actually use...

Is this yours ? Cheers. Jason.

I've known Wendell Fox for a number of years. He has a unique style and his work is of the highest quality. I have owned one of his knives in the past. I wish now that I still had it. Wendell also is a very likeable person. He definitely contributes to any gathering. Always smiles and is liked by all who know him. Anyone who owns one of his knives has a treasure.
