Since Wenger is technically no more, and that they only produced one model in Alox, and that being the Soldat/Soldier, how about posting up your Wenger alox Soldiers?:)

Wonderful knives, indeed!

It´s a shame they aren´t made anymore. I was foolish enough not to pay more attention when they were available everywhere :upset:

A friend gave me this Soldat....hope get it repaired, maybe this Fall. It's perfect except for the broken blade.

This is why you never use your blade as a pry bar. :D

I say regrind it into a electrician blade.

 It was broken when I received it. Last blade I broke was My Old Timer tip back in '68. :D

No, it will be whole again...even if it has to sport a Vic Pioneer blade.

Unless you can find a SI blade a Pioneer blade should work out just fine.

Nice examples of the Wenger models.

Did Vic and Wenger both use the same alox formula? Can't recall off hand if the alox is made in house or brought in.

For some reason, I've never really warmed to the Wenger versions as compared to the Vic's and I really don't have a good reason for it. I did just get a 43 Wenger though for the collection so maybe I should watch for Wenger too as those will start to dry up sometime in the future I suppose. At least ones in good shape.
