Somebody had mentioned these the other day in Wilderness and Survival. I found one, for $4.95 and decided to buy it. I currently own a Victorinox Swiss Card, which I paid a comperable price for. I like the knife on the Wenger more. I also like the multi-tool which combines a screw driver, nail file, and cap lifter. There is tweezers that are always nice to have, and the proverbial little toothpick. One area that Vic gets it better is the Scissors- those Vic Swiss Card scissors are awsome, but the cap is crap. Overall, I'm impressed.

This picture shows my Wenger Card (red), Vic Swiss Card (Green), and my makeshift leather sheath. The sheath was handmade by a New York City leathermaker, who makes them as credit card wallets from "scrap" leather from his primary jobs, which involves making handmade purses.

There is an inch and a metric ruler on the card body.

Wenger does not manufacture the cards. They purchased a zillion of them some time ago to use as gifts. The idea never got much traction so they have been "dumping" them dirt cheap. You will notice that there is no identifying marks anywhere on the card (at least all that I have seen).

Youre right- there is no markings. Any idea who/where these things came from?

AFAIK, the knife isn't available by itself. However, the whole cards are available cheap. I do like the knife. Very sharp and thin. One day, I'll dip the handle a few times in Plastidip, make a sheath for it, and put it on my keychain.

The blade looks very similar to the one on the Tool Logic cards, so I wonder if they were the manufacturer? I hope not, because the Tool Logic card I had sucked. At least it did compared to my Swisscards.
