Ok so I have a vic OHT and quite a few other vic knives. I only have one wenger and its pretty good. I was looking into getting one of the wenger Rangers and was woundering for those of you who have them how do you think the compare to the equivalent locking victorinox knives. Pictures of the knives and use is always welcome of course.

The Wenger knives are very good.
Pros:
Slick locking mechanism, just push a button to disengage the liner lock
Huge blade.
Excellent for outdoors use.
Awesome saw.

Cons:
Lacks the beefy locking pry bar/bottle opener.
Freaking huge blade - may draw unwanted attention, and is big enough to be awkward in some usage situations.
Big in the pocket.

I have a couple, and I use them a lot for camping or hunting. In general I think the OHT is one of the best knives ever, and it gets a ton of carry time, but the Wengers are fine too. I don't think theyre quite as suited for EDC.

I agree with Django.cj and his pro's and cons "BIG!"

I also feel the OHT is perfect for most tasks and carrying around, but them Rangers! "BIG!" lol
but it is a cool tool and I'm glad I have it.
