The large handle, the locking blade and the 107 mm (4.2 inch) long wood saw make for a great outdoor tool.

Good looking knife! I have the army issue version (Swiss Army) of the Wenger Ranger and really like the longer and locking blade, and the longer saw is awesome.

Only glanced at the video. I actually bought the victorinox hunting knife for my brother last year. I think I would perfer the victorinox to the wenger because I am close minded and always perfer victorinox to wenger.

Aren't Vic and Wenger the same company now?

Why...why the corkscrew Wenger/Victorinox???
Dare I suggest that most of us don't drink wine? lol
Great review as always.

Some of us drink wine. Admittedly I have cork screws I like better, but it works ok in a pinch...better than breaking off the end of the bottle :D

From a tactical standpoint, I guess wine bottles would make the best/easiest resealable bottles for improvised incendiary devices :)

My thoughts exactly. When are they going to get rid of it? What about the cheesy toothpick and others?
I understand that the corkscrew might have been useful long time ago when there necessary wasn't screwed corks like these days.
Is wine lover not going to have corkscrew with him anyway? Does one really need one on the go?

I believe that Victorinox maintains Wenger as its own company out of respect (also because just like Victorinox has diehard followers, so does Wenger).

That said, I'm definitely on the Victorinox side. I grew up with them, so they just seem like the natural choice. Plus, every time I've put the two side by side, the Victorinox tools just seem to be thought out better/more refined/look better, and they seem to be put together with more care and attention to detail.
