Wenger SI or Victorinox Soldier

Over 60 years of history are being closed within the next few months. Show your swiss army knife (Soldier or Standard Issue model) and tell me how you use it and if you carry it everyday.. if you do what method or where do you carry it?

I have two Wenger SI - one of them I carry frequently. Really a great great knife



It will be a pitty when this great and traiditional pattern will soon be history.

The other Wenger SI is still originally blister packed, and won´t get carried

I've got two Wenger SIs on the way, and I own a couple of Pioneers, but no Vic Soldiers as of yet. I'll post pics of the Wengers when they arrive.

I was never a Wenger fan, but I do hate to see them go. I'm just starting to look over the Wenger line to see which model I should pick up, new or used, to mark their passing. Which of the Wengers would you say is the most 'iconic' or unique if you were going to buy just one?

I have a Wenger SI but no Vic Soldier. I like the SI and carry it once in a while, mainly on camping trips and that sort of thing. Usually just drop it in my back pocket when I do.

I've had an old Wenger SI for many years, and it's a great knife. When I think I may need a dirty deeds tough folder, my SI gets dropped in a pocket.

Wenger line will remain in production under the Victorinox brand name,new line of Wengers could hardly confuse anybody which witch is witch

not very traditional examples,but it's Soldier and Ranger

I have also personally thought about keeping one new in the package. I initially got a Wenger SI but then was gifted a Victorinox Pioneer which I carry very often, the engraved SI that I have also sits at home and will be a piece of memory of when I started to get into pocket knives.
