I just got a Pocket Tool Chest today from Sports Authority for a keychain rig I have been wanting to make. How are they and how do they compare to Victorinox?

Wenger vrs Vic...............well the common consensus will be that Victorinox is the winner.....but .....but.........there's nothing wrong with Wenger, they make great tools too!
For me Wenger has several distinct advantages.
1.Large locking blade on various regular size models
2.Superior scissors by far
3.Locking screwdrivers
4.Esquire beats Classic for mini Swiss tools by far

Vic has its advantages too
1.Better fit and finish.....
2.More Alox handles available
3.Better punch/awl/needle
4.Better tweezers
But you can't go wrong with either brand.........there are no other "real" Swiss Army knives!

Kap

I can't tell you much about the "Pocket Tool Chest," but I can tell you a bit about Wenger and Victorinox knives.

Both companies are Swiss, and both companies have contracts with the Swiss military. One is known as the "official Swiss Army knife" and the other is known as the "original Swiss Army knife." Only the most basic Alox models, (the best knives they make) are used by the Swiss military. Both companies make a quality product with a few exceptions in both camps. The Wenger model you have should be a good knife.
