Need to keep one and sell one between the Crux and the Stretch in Super Blue. Better EDC between the 2? Both fit great, great size, etc. Spent too much (is there such a thing?!) on knives and or electronics this month lol.

Can't comment on the Crux but if there's any doubt in your mind: the Stretch is awesome for EDC. Also, I feel like Super Blue is a bit "special" since you don't see it in folders all that often.

What a diiference in knives! I’d go for the Stretch for EDC, also with no experience with the Crux. It’s a super useful blade and handle. I haven’t gotten ahold of the Super Blue yet, but he ZDP-189 version is great. The Stretch probably won’t take scratches and such like the Crux may. I would carry the Stretch with no worries at all...the Crux might make me pause when choosing a carry.

The crux of the matter is you really don't wish to sell either?
Edc both a little longer before selling either one.

I think the crux is more fashionable, but the stretch is probably the better knife at doing knife stuff. Crux is better at looking pretty.

You can figure out whether you are best served by a blade spine thickness of 0.158" or 0.120". each thickness may be judged better for specific uses, so there is no one correct answer.

I have to agree with Sonnydaze here. It depends on what you need to use the knife for. However given how most users use their blades? I am sure either would do fine, however I would say that the super blue steel adds some interesting appeal to the Stretch over the Crux. It really just depends. Do you want the standard aesthetic of a titanium slab mid tech? Do you prefer frame locks over back locks? Is the spydie flick more appealing to you than the flipping action on the Crux?

In terms of cutting ability, I am sure both work fine for most general EDC tasks. I think you just need to spend more time with each to figure out which one you like more. It's very much a personal choice.

I love my superblue stretch. Plus, it doesn’t seem like Spyderco uses that steel anymore, so I’m sure they will be collectible in years to come

The way I see it;

If you really need the money more than both knives, post the one you think will sell the fastest for the amount you need. If you take the time to carry them both, then time will pass and your money situation will work itself out and you will end up either keeping them both, or you will sell the one you like least to buy one you think you will like more.

S35v makes a great EDC steel choice because of its low maintenance features. Superblue is is well, super! So hard to pick unless I knew what environment I was in and what I was cutting. My knee jerk reaction was Spyderco Stretch.

I would not get the Massdrop knives. They were not even tested in reality. Lots of pocket clip issues and too easy to scratch up. Go with the stretch. Note I only have the Falcon not a crux.

I threaten to buy a stretch every time someone sends one in for sharpening. Great knife. That massdrop knife looks like a thousand other Ti flippers. Nice no doubt, but not as unique as the stretch. I'd sell it.
