Went a little crazy when I ordered my Millie. :)

Well, I posted a week or two ago that I ordered a black on black combo edge Millie, and I did. But...I guess because I'm in Costa Rica and I was shipping to my buddy in the u.s, it looked fishy so they canceled the order. So I got back online and after tons of digging found what I thought was a very fair deal on this baby. It will be here in a about a week!! I'm pretty stoked! Any comments from those of you who own this one?

I've got one. Carried it for a little while but it was definitely overkill for my line of work.
Very well made, reliable, built like a tank, cuts well...what more needs to be said really. Wait, I'm sure we'll hear lots more.:D

The only downside to the SPYDERCO MILITARY TITANIUM (C36TI) is that it weighs nearly 6 ounces. Robust titanium frame lock. Regular G10 Military weighs about 4 ounces and the Fluted Titanium weighs about 5 ounces.

I had one for a while, I sold because I never really carried it. It was very nicely made and had a solid lockup. I remember it excelled at food preparation.

I have a Ti millie. I carry it only with a belt sheath. I do think the platform excels with the G10/CF models as a light, strong big knife that carries well. The added weight ofthe ti scales don't add anything except for the guys enamored with ti scales.

Yeah, it's probably the less practical model and I definitely was kind of thinking that when I coughed up that extra $70 and pulled the trigger, but what the hell. You only live once. :). It was an impulse buy. I got all enamored and couldn't help myself!! It happens to the best of us. :D

Use it and enjoy it.

Copy that brother. All mine get used. My green pm2 is getting some battle scars already. That ti Mili will get worn in pretty quick too I imagine. I'm pretty excited to get it. I got to handle the g10 military model in the knifeworks store last month and knew immediately I would be getting one. Hopefully I'll like the ti model, but if not I'll trade it off for a g10.

Nice score, I'm sure you'll love it! Haven't picked up a Ti model yet but I'm sure one is in my future. Let us know how you like it.

I just got a brown Millie in CTS-XHP factory second in a trade, the thing is a monster in every aspect.
The only thing wrong with it is there is a tiny nick in the spine above the thumb hole. Other than that it's flawless. I also need a clip too. No big deal :)
I do wish it offered tip up carry though, I'd wave it then ;)
The Ti model is very pleasing though, I might have to get one eventually.
It'll have to be a weekend knife for sure. I only work with a handful of guys but only one of them is comfortable around knives really. He carries a small schrade liner lock.
Biggest knive I've ever carried was my Para 2. I recently got an endura but haven't carried it. I sent it to Spyderco and just got it back it's waiting in line along with my 5 other new spydercos I've aquired in the past 2 weeks lol.

The nick above the thumbhole is how they mark factory seconds, but they cut just the same :)
