This is the pawn shop where I bought the Fight'n Rooster for Dad for Christmas, today I picked up three (plus a couple mini knives) for me and had the guy set back a couple more I will pick up next trip out there.

First the minis...shown with a Silver dollar in the background...

A "made in China" keychain knife and an Opinel #3

That was it for this trip but as I said he is holding a couple more Fight'n Roosters for me and I may find something else I can resist...lol. He has sorted completely through the 350 knife estate and it makes it easier to look through them.

Those are awesome!!! Those remind me of a TV show..."Pimp My Ride" I like colorful and those have some color for sure!!! Nice catch there...

The red glitter you almost have to see in person, I couldn't do it justice with the camera.

Nice Bulldogs.I've always like the 2 Bulldogs. They probably have matching hearts and spades for each of those colors or patterns.

All I ever find in pawnshops are broken electronics and overpriced guitars.:grumpy::grumpy:

Nice score.... Those Bulldogs are sweet.
I like goin to pawnshops, you never know what you'll find.
A good friend used to manage one and when he would get good stuff in, he would hold it so I could look at it first :D

To be honest this pawnshop is one of the nicest I have seen outside of Vegas, they even keep full time jewelers employed there resetting stones, sizing, doing custom work. etc. Lots of collectibles as well. Decent firearm selection, and lots of knives. In this last estate there must have been 100 MOP alone. This is not a huge shop like some in Vegas but it has tons of goodies. Located in Lafayette Indiana.

I am heading back over there today...I feel like a kid on Christmas morning...lol.

Yer makin me jealous,:grumpy: yesterdays pawn shop visit was 2 crack heads pawning some (educated guess) stolen tools, but no knives under the glass even worth handling. My quest continues.....I wish I could find some bull dogs like that! Great charity work....Pocket Knife Rescue Mission.:D

Well...made home with a lighter wallet and heavy pocket...today's haul was very nice...

First we have a 1996 Fight"n Rooster "Big Apple" stockman. This one caught the ex's eye and she insisted I give it a home...really had to twist my arm as you can guess...

Next is this 1995 Bulldog 3 blade cigar...the colors swirl nicely and again the ex help my pick it.

Last is one I picked out all by myself...lol. This big 4 dot Case Sharktooth caught my eye. It's rounded contours feel very nice in the hand and it is a very handsome knife. Matter of fact I think I may need to talk with Redrummd about something fancy for the scales...lol.

I am sure there will be a reason to go back next week...got to be some reasom to drive an hour...maybe I will need a screw or a nut I can't find here in town.....
