Don't laugh to hard, I am in NW GA after all and only had to drive 15 min to catch my limit of Brown Trout. These little ones will be tasty at least.:o
Sorry for the crappy pic..

I would celebrate with a haul like that. All we have down here is either radioactive fishing off the piers at the beaches or at a man made lake which usually costs too much with horrible results. Good job. I hope they make a good meal. :)

That's what it's like out here in certain rivers and streams on the pacific NW too. Tons of 6" trout that rise so easy to a fly, but I never find any large ones.

Ummmm ..... Kenny Man ......

I don't seem to remember getting my invite to go with you !!!!!!!

I don't live that far away you know !!

Nice catch. :D

Nice crib too.

Crib, I don't need no stinkin crib. Heck, I use a limb when I forget my stringer:D

It was funny when the closest guy near me was dressed to the hilt in all his trout get up and caught one fish... That always cracks me up. You just don't need all that here. Now if I'm on the other side of state I will take my waders, vest and creel.

All you need here is some semi -camo, light line on the Spyrex and a silver Mepps.

It was a spur of the moment thing Tdog, Your welcome to go with me anytime though... just let me know...and ride on up !

Good looking porch there, how old is the structure if you don't mind me asking. I would like to extend mine this summer or the next. Thinking about using the synthetic stuff.

Trout is a favorite of mine, and the size you display there is the same as I catch in my nearby lakes and rivers!
(no limit here, though)
Your place looks cool, I'd love to see more pictures of it!

I built the house 20 years ago. It's about time for the cedar to be stained again...and that is a pain. Some of the synthetic out now does look good...

Friend and I tried another creek today and caught plenty of rainbows that were smaller than these...released all of mine since I had some for tonight.

My grass/weeds need cut so bad I hate to go out and take a pic now....
Thanks for the complement, its pretty cool but being on the side of this dang Mt..(hill to most )... makes it a real pain to cut the grass/weeds.

I seriously want to go fishing now. :)

Me too!!!

I can't wait until next weekend! I am going to spend 2 nights and 3 days kayak fishing and camping in the 10,000 Islands / Everglades National park area of the Gulf. Redfish and snook here I come!!
I hope I get a shark too, so I can do a little redneck surfing in my kayak!!;)

Those trout look so tasty and they are making my wait for my trip pretty hard.

They only let me keep 3 a day here in Ma!! They are usually stocked rainbows or brookies!! Brown trout are also stocked but usually elude me!! :D J

I grew up fishing for rainbows in Colorado, but here in Idaho they are almost treated as a nuisance fish because they impact the native cutthroats. In fact, the Bureau of Reclamation jiggers Snake River (South Fork) flow from the local reservoir to impede the ability of rainbows to spawn. Higher flows in the spring wash away the rainbow eggs and give the cutthroats an advantage, while lower flows in the winter help the natives. Fishery is a complicated science.

Hey Kenny! Now I have a face to go with the name! Nice catch and that seems like a really nice place. I live the burbs...miles away from any kind of lake :-(
