I stopped by a Dicks sporting goods looking for another folding sharpener, and found out that they were only carrying Smiths sharpeners. Well, I took a look at their knife selection, and came across a nice looking trapper. The Browning Aztec Trapper. Zebrawood and stag, I am unsure of the quality. Steel is 420, J2 I am hoping for because I am sure it is not 420HC. You can guess the country of origin
.
All in all, not a bad knife. I bought it on a whim, it was on sale at a good price. A beater knife, but the springs seem good. I have been looking at the GEC/Tidioute/Northfield two blade Pioneer trappers, and this sated my appetite for a while. If it doesn't grow on me, I know someone who I can give it to. A great gift for the non knife nut who needs a folder. (Moving away from giving tacticools for gifts these days
