Went on a short hike Friday!

I got a break from school on Friday so I thought I would head out to the river and go for a short hike! Hope the pictures show up alright! They were shot from my cell phone.....


I had to cross the log in the 4th pic to get to where I wanted to go. The 4th pic is looking down the creek from on top of the log!

The Camelbak in the 5th pic is one I have been using a while for an EDC pack. I wanted to see if it would hold up on the trail getting scraped and tumbled while walking off the trail.....Seemed to do just fine!

I was sure to bring a delicious MRE with me!



I tried my hand at scaling the rock wall....it was only 12' or so but still a blast to climb!

The 2nd pic is when I had crossed back over the creek to leave and the last pic is on the trail out!

Looks like a great place. I'm always jealous of hikes near water, my area is always bone dry.
