Since I only live 2 hours away, got there about 9:30 am, got to meet and talk to Ernie Emerson (very nice guy).
Picked up an Iron Dragon.

Ernie signed the blade for me.

As a bonus, he also signed my CQC-8 blade.

All in all, a really cool experience.
About the knife:
First impressions are it is a pretty sweet knife. The ergo's are good, although the handle is a bit on the thin side, I can get used to it. It came razor sharp out of box, with excellent fit and finish. Solid early lockup, perfect blade centering, and the action is very smooth; almost like it's on ball bearings...oh wait, it is! Ha ha.
What really impressed me was how light this knife is. I don't have a scale, but I'd bet this thing is under 5 ounces. A pretty impressive feat for a blade this size. It's light weight, but still feels sturdy, and "Emerson like".
I think it's going to get a lot of pocket time.
Ebidis aproved.
EDIT:
Putting the Emerson fit and finish thing to rest.
After playing with and closely inspecting this thing for the last 5 hours, I have to say the f&f is on par with any other production folder of this type at his price point I have ever seen. I seriously cannot find a flaw anywhere on this knife.
There are no machining or tool marks anywhere, no rough or unfinished edges, and all parts are fit together perfectly. Perfect blade centering, smooth as ice on glass action, solid 40% lockup, and beautiful stonewash on the titanium. The blade grinds, and finish are excellent, and the edge is perfectly even, and razor sharp due to the blade being quite thin behind the edge.
The only issue I had was that the pivot would loosen up when I first started playing with it. A drop of blue lock tite, and that problem is gone.
I would put this knife up against any ZT, Spyderco, Benchmade, Strider, whatever, that I have ever handled. Good job Emerson!
This knife is going to make a great EDC, and a welcome addition to the family.
