So, I bought a grinder with a buffer and a 4"x36" belt sander (with a 6" disc sander), and a cheap machete to practice on (with high carbon steel, the handles are clunky, I hope to make them better). I'll be like Grinducci before long! Is there any point to this thread? Heck, I don't know, I'm so tired, I might as well be drunk!
I've just got to figure out which knife I want to mod first! Or at all! Man, this is going to be a VERY tough decision.

Watch out for that buffer. They will grab and throw a knife back at you before you know it. Be safe and have fun.

Harbor Freight... I was there last week and picked up the wet/dry grinder.

I wouldn't advise you to follow my direction! I have two grinders, a 1" X 36" and a 6" X 48", it is all about the diameter of the primary grind wheel though.

that aaaaaaaaaahahaaaaaaa thing is cool, but the badgerbadgerbadger thing is the best . Try leaving it on in the background while doing something else. It will get annoying pretty fast :p

gotta love random $hit like that :)

HIGH FIVE!
I saw the wet/dry thing on sale too, but I couldn't buy everything! I'm sure the wet grinder is fabulous for mods. (as in keeping the keeping the blade cool with water.)

here is a nice little grinder/buffer combo that i have had my eye on for awhile, and will be purchasing it very soon, it is from Grizzly Industrial.

they have a very nice color catalog that you can get for free, they also have other grinders and such,,,but i figured this combo would be perfect.

they also have just about any type of machine shop equipment that you could ever possibly want and they also focus on electric guitar building also.

chek 'um out

all my equipment comes from harbor freight :D except the combo set I bought from target because it was 20$ per cordless power tool... at that point, your splitting hairs, and I'm quite positive that what I got was higher quality :D

It's worth it to go there just to get their calipers set, wich I'm trying to locate in my house right now :grumpy:

Wanna know what the difference between the DF and HOGFBMLE is in 1/16"...
