Don't have much time at work, so I won't be online but for a few minutes. I'll check tomorrow if anyone is interested in this but I wanted to let you know if you haven't been there the factory tour is worth it! I was camping in Idaho and we broke down camp a day early. Gave me , my two buddies and their boys 12 and 7 a chance to make the tour of the factory. 5 grins from ear to ear. If you get the chance do it. Some of you probably already have and you know what I mean.

Wanted to go into the heat treat area but for insurance reasons couldn't. It sounded like it was a temporary thing. Maybe Joe or C.J. could explain because I could be wrong.

I cant believe I missed you! I would have told them to give you the DEE-LUX tour! :)
I remember, back in the day, you could bring the tour just about anywhere in the shop. We even had some tours end up at Chuck's office for a gab session. Liability issues have shrunk the tour a bit but you can still see quite a bit of the interesting stuff.

Hey Joe, I will let you know when I plan to come up so you can schedule a trip outta town. Regardless, I will behave.

I'll try to call ahead next time, but like I said it was a last minute decision, about 10 minutes before we left. Still worth it though. I can't remember the guides name, but if there is only one and you know who it is please give him my compliments, he was great!

No worries Goose, my receptionist has standing orders that if a wildeyed biker dude shows up asking for me, she is to tell him "he just left the building for an extended leave of absense". Or words to that effect....
Funny thing i just remembered, she has the same instructions if she sees a van pull up with a huge scimitar on the roof...huh...;)

Hello: I'm new to posting, but have been reading Blade Forums for over a year.

I believe I was there the same day GOSHEN was there. I was with my soon-to-be bride. I believe that GOSHEN and I shook hands after the tour.

The tour directors name was Martin, if I remember correctly. And yes, I took photos, which I'll try to attach.

I can't figure out how to attach images. It should be pretty simple, but this system isn't very intuitive... Shouldn't there be a drop-down box instead of a URL address box when I select "Insert Image"? Looks like I need to spend some time in the FAQ.

...A lot of us who post pictures like to use Photobucket...it's free and very easy. One of our "more astute" :p members, Chickentrax, shows how to use it rather nicely...Just click on the thread below...Welcome to the forum...
