Hit the Buck factory store sale last night. Some great prices but was just a little bit disapointed. Even though the sale started on Monday, things were pretty picked over and there wasnt a large selection of blems and build outs like years past. I usually get a knife for each of my fellow black belts at our martial arts schoo at the salel, and I was able to get some nice blades to give this Christmas. All knives were 50% factory store prices with some really nice prices on some of the close outs and imported knives.
 
Lucky. I've never been. Do you have any photos of the sale that you could post pretty please?

Did you see any of the 2015 product line? If so what's coming?

I may be wrong but there seems to be a number of on-line resellers local to the region that vacuum up the Factory Store stuff. You have to beat them out to find anything.

Shelly, not his real name, lives about ten miles from the factory. He is top drawer and eager to acquire this and that at the store for me when he visits there. :thumbup:

I joined the forum yesterday; went to the factory sale Friday, it was very busy, though picked up a couple of nice blades. Looking forward to sharing the forum with fellow Buck enthusiasts.

Desoto was joking but I am serious......for new people the most common 'bad' thing they get into is to talk about buying and selling in the wrong manner. If you haven't done so already, please read the forum rules carefully on talking about that. If you watch carefully you will pick up the ways of the forum and some of the code words, such as 'the Mart' and 'the Bay'. Then I don't have to worry about 'the bad'. Good luck and enjoy.

Yes and then they are sold on his online store.
