WEPS: Choseras alone or with WE diamonds?

I have watched videos on the Wicked Edge Chosera stones. The people used the standard diamonds first, the Choseras, and then ceramics and strops. That would take me 3 hrs.! Is that what you guys with Choseras are doing? What about Choseras by themselves?

Choseras by themselves will work 😊 the diamonds are usually used first because people have them on hand and that means less choseras they have to purchase, but secondly because the diamonds do a great fast job of reprofiling and Edge clean up. If you have the choseras you don't need the ceramics anymore, just a strop or two.

There was actually no reason to buy the Choseras, was there? Attribute it to OCD?

Yeah you definitely don't need them! Lol. My favorite edge is 600-1k grit on the Wicked edge for a nice toothy bite! But the choseras are nice for finishing that's for sure!
