Were all the Camillus TL-29s made of 0-1?

I have a couple of older ones and really like them.

Are the last, post-1989 models still made of good carbon steel?

I believe all the early/military issue TL29 were made with 1095 or 440A, depending on the specifications in effect at the time of manufacture.

I know all the "Demo Knives" regardless of who made them, were all 440A. That is what the Mil Spec called for, from day one.

If made by Camillus or one of the other government contractors post 1989, then it will still have good steel, be it carbon steel or stainless steel.

The reason I mentioned 0-1 is that I remember reading something from a former Camillus employee stating that the TL-29s were made of 0170-6C, which is very similar to 0-1. Also, my experience with the TL-29s I have would lead me to believe the blade steel is something a bit better than 1095.
