I am interpreting this spam as a sign from heaven that i should date a college girl.

When I see a run of spam by user, I go to their profile page and report them as a spammer, then click on ignore member, and presto...they are invisible and so are all of their threads

Thanks for the tips. I am getting a ton of all chinese characters threads!!

The spam gets cleaned up as we see it. As a mod that's all I can do. Not sure what other tools might be available to others.
